RHINO BUCKET Talks New Album In Video Interview
August 23, 2010DJ Will of KNAC.COM recently conducted an interview with RHINO BUCKET — the Bon Scott-era AC/DC sound-alike band that recorded two albums for Warner Bros./ EMI back in '90 and '92 and a couple of independent albums with former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright. RHINO BUCKET has entered Grandmaster Recorders in Hollywood, California with producer Doug Boehm (THE VINES, GUIDED BY VOICES, THE WHIGS) to begin recording its sixth album. Entitled "Rare Beauty", the CD will feature 12 new tracks written by bandmembers Georg Dolivo (vocals, guitar),Reeve Downes (bass, vocals),Brian Forsythe (guitar, vocals) and the group's latest addition, Anthony Biuso (drums, vocals).
"Rare Beauty" will be released before the end of the year via Acetate Records and will be available at retail and online.
RHINO BUCKET will be touring Europe and America in support of the new release.
MVD Visual and Acetate Records released RHINO BUCKET's latest album, "The Hardest Town", in May 2009. The CD was produced by Stefan Sigerson, who previously worked with RHINO BUCKET on its 2006 album, "And Then It Got Ugly".
RHINO BUCKET placed a track in the Darren Aronofsky hit feature "The Wrestler", which opened in theaters in December 2007. The movie stars Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei, and it features BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN's original song "The Wrestler", written exclusively for the film.
